Design Development

When we started our mirrors we made specifications and design ideas.

 As we have progressed with our mirrors some ideas have started to change. 

This is called design development. We have looked at the 4

designs we drew earlier according to our specifications. 

If the specifications changes we wrote down the new ones.

we looked at each of our earlier designs and transformed each one

into something better and more practical.

Whats happening to Wood

Perspex Test Piece

The best thing about my test piece was the converse shoe. It came out perfect and was very detailed. I had my stakeholders name at the top. I did not like the ice skate it was hard to see and wasn't the right size. I thought that the ice skate would have come out clearer. The photographs I pasted onto my test piece were really cool and i didn't realise how much detail the laser made. I tried using a black whiteboard marker to colour some of my pictures. I thought that it made some of the detail clearer to see. I also tried using a highlighter. I coloured it pink and blue and I really liked the way it turned out because it looked very

bright. I am happy with what it turned out with but some of the fonts I wanted to test were not available on the machine so I would like to try some different fonts to see which one my stakeholder would want. I would want to try etching wood.

What colors would you like used on your mirror? mint green, silver, a little bit of baby pink.

What shapes would you like on your mirror? spiral, spiky flower, diamond, tulip

Would you like any pictures? Iceskating (anything to do with it) tennis stuff, pandas or penguins -  of all, i don't mind you choose one.
Would you like etching around the mirror? Yes, a quote: Mirrors should think longer before they reflect. ~ Jean cocteau ~

What is your preferred color? Shapes? Designs? Patterns? Hobbies? Quotes? Song? Book? baby pink and baby blue (don't put them together), spirals, fancy writing for the etching, tennis, watching movies, and sleeping, quotes above, demi levato, a royal match.

Would you like a theme included on your mirror? a modern, futuristic but fancy theme

Is there anything specific you would like included on your mirror? maybe some 3d stuff

Are there any details you want included? the shape of the mirror to be a tennis racquet

What size do you need the mirror to be? the size of my face.

What is the purpose of your mirror? to have a personal mirror

What would you like around the frame? the whole design of a tennis raquet
